Matt Reeves The Batman has just bagged an Oscar-nominated cinematographer.

THR reports Grieg Fraser, who’s CV includes Star Wars: Rogue One, Lion, Vice and the upcoming Dune remake—will be handling cinematography duties on Reeves long awaited Batman film.

Fraser previously worked with Reeves on 2010 film Let Me In. The talented Director of Photography is one of the best working today, he utilizes camera technology so well, for me his best work came in Rogue One, the film was by far the best looking Star Wars film, the imagery he created is something to be admired.

Robert Pattinson will play The Dark Knight in Reeves film, he takes over the Cape and Cowl from Ben Affleck in a new adaptation of the iconic superhero. The film is due to shooting in the first quarter of 2020.

The Batman is set to hit screens on June 25, 2021.
