Oscar Isaac In Talks To Play ‘Moon Knight’ In Marvel’s Disney+ Series

Star Wars actor Oscar Isaac is in talks to join the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Per Deadline, Isaac is in negotiations to star as Moon Knight in Marvel’s Disney+ series.

Moon Knight aka Marc Spector, is a mercenary who has numerous alter egos — cabbie Jake Lockley and millionaire playboy Steven Grant — in order to better fight the criminal underworld. But later he was established as being a conduit for the Egyptian moon god Khonshu. Most recently, the character was a consultant who dresses in all-white and goes by the name Mr. Knight.

Umbrella Academy writer Jeremy Slater has been brought onboard to develop and lead the writing team.

This is not a character I’m too familiar with, I know he draws comparisons with Batman (with Moon Knight actually killing), fans love him and they’ve  been anticipating his arrival in the MCU for a while now. From what I gather he would have been more suited to Netflix’s ‘Marvel Universe‘ as he’s brutal and violent. This will no doubt be toned down for the streaming service.
