Jared Leto is returning to the DCEU as the Joker for Zack Snyder’s Justice League. The actor is taking part in the reshoots to flesh out Snyder’s vision THR reports.

Leto last played the Joker in 2016’s Suicide Squad, will be joined by Ben Affleck, Ray Fisher, and Amber Heard who are amongst those returning for the additional scenes.

Fans will be excited for a potential showdown between Leto’s Joker and Affleck’s Batman. As to the size of Leto’s role? That’s yet to be confirmed, but I wouldn’t expect it to be overly massive.

THR confirmed Zack Snyder’s Justice League will be the official title for the four-episode HBO Max event series. There’s no official release date, but there has been some rumours that it may drop in Q1 of 2021.
