Gemma Chan, Barry Keoghan and Kit Harington Join Marvel’s ‘The Eternals’

Marvel have announced Gemma Chan (Crazy Rich Asians), Barry Keoghan (The Killing of the Sacred Deer) and Kit Harington (Game of Thrones) have all officially joined the cast of Chloé Zhao’s The Eternals.

Scheduled to hit screens next November, Chan (who, recently appeared in Captain Marvel as Minn-Erva and was wasted massively) will play Sersei, one of the Eternals, who in the comics goes on to become an Avenger. Keoghan will play a villainous Eternal, known as Druig, whilst Harington has been cast as Dane Whitman aka the Black Knight.

It’s unclear whether or not Keoghan’s Druig will be the main villain in the film, he sometimes aligns himself with his cousin Ikaris and the rest of the Eternals. Perhaps Marvel will build the character up, starting him off as a friend and overtime turning him into a foe?

The rest of the cast includes Angelina Jolie as Thena, Richard Madden as Ikaris, Kumail Nanjiani as Kingo, Lauren Ridloff as Makkari, Brian Tyree Henry as Phastos, Salma Hayek as Ajak, Lia McHugh as Sprite, and Don Lee as Gilgamesh.
