Warner Bros. The Flash starring Ezra Miller as the Scarlet Speedster may not be titled Flashpoint after all.
A new report from THR notes that scribe Dan Mazeau who hired today to pen the script of Ernie Cline’s Armada has also worked on the Flash film “when it was titled Flashpoint,” hinting that the title may now have changed.
Borys Kit who wrote the article followed up from his story with a tweet:
“I didn’t say they weren’t adapting Flashpoint. All I said was that it wouldn’t be titled Flashpoint. But maybe I’ve said too much.”

Perhaps it’s just a title change and we’re looking too far into it. However, it would not surprise me if Warner Bros. changed their mind and went down a different route with The Flash after bringing on-board Jonathan M. Goldstein and John Francis Daley (Game Night) to direct the film.
Personally I would rather Warner Bros changed the film, the Flashpoint storyline is too soon. Something like that should come later on after they’ve established more of the universe.
