Chris Evans Is In Talks To Return As ‘Captain America’

Chris Evans is gearing up for a return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Steve Rodgers aka Captain America.

Deadline reports that Evans is ready to dust off the cobwebs and make a suprise return to the MCU in some form. According to their sources it looks like he’ll return for one film, in similar fashion to how Robert Downey Jr appeared in other films after Iron Man 3, but the door will be left ajar for a second film.

Evans told Backstage “he already missed playing Captain America.”

“I absolutely loved my time with Marvel; I already miss it. But there’s no denying that it is very exciting to just have complete freedom to pursue whatever my creative appetite wants.”

It’s unclear on how exactly Evans will return as Rodgers, giving the ending to Avengers: Endgame, but there is unlimited potential when it comes to Marvel. I’m just glad he’s back, the world’s always a little better with Chris Evans as Cap.
