It’s official. The James Bond twitter account announced the title of Bond 25 this afternoon with a short teaser video.

The film, which will be Daniel Craig’s last as Bond, will welcome the return of Naomie Harris, Ben Whishaw, Ralph Fiennes, Jeffrey Wright, Rory Kinnear and Léa Seydoux with the addition of Lashana Lynch (as the agent with the code name 007), and Oscar-winner Rami Malek as the as-yet unnamed villain.  Rumours persist that Christoph Waltz will return too.

NO TIME TO DIE is written by Neal Purvis, Robert Wade, Scott Z Burns and Phoebe Waller-Bridge, directed by Cary Fukunaga, and will be scored by Dan Romer.

The official synopsis:

In NO TIME TO DIE, Bond has left active service and is enjoying a tranquil life in Jamaica. His peace is short-lived when his old friend Felix Leiter from the CIA turns up asking for help. The mission to rescue a kidnapped scientist turns out to be far more treacherous than expected, leading Bond onto the trail of a mysterious villain armed with dangerous new technology.

The film, which has been shooting in Norway, Scotland, Jamaica and Italy, as well as at Pinewood Studios in England, is scheduled for release in April 2020.
