In an announcement that shouldn’t suprise anyone in the slightest, Marvel have announced a sequel to Black Panther during the D23 Expo this weekend.
Direct Ryan Coogler will be back in the hot seat, with Chadwick Boseman returning as the titular character.
Coogler made an appearance on stage with Marvel President Kevin Feige at the Expo and announced Black Panther II would hit screens May 6, 2022.
“We’re not taking our time, we’re really trying to get it right,” said Coogler.
Feige said Coogler has delivered a treatment, complete with a villain and new title. However, neither would divulge those juicy details.
Am I the only one who thinks the title is good enough as is? Roman numerals alongside Black Panther works!
