The 25th Bond film NO TIME TO DIE arrives in April and the marketing campaign kicks into gear with the release of the new theme song.
Billie Eilish, the youngest ever Bond singer at 18, first came to attention in 2016 with her first single “Ocean Eyes” which went viral after she uploaded it to Soundcloud.
Her debut album When We Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? was recently named the best-selling album of 2019 by Rolling Stone and Eilish herself collected five Grammy Awards at last month’s ceremony.
In a clever move, EON Productions enlisted Eilish to produce the theme, gaining interest from record-buying fan base and of course her army of followers on social media.
Her rise has been meteoric, and the theme will no doubt delight her fans. Here’s hoping Bond fans are just as excited.
NO TIME TO DIE is the last Bond film to star Daniel Craig and will reportedly conclude the story sequence which has extended throughout his films Casino Royale, Quantum of Solace, Skyfall and Spectre.
