After a few teaser trailers, Disney has finally released a trailer for Aladdin worth singing about or in Will Smith’s Genie case, rapping about.
The new trailer gives us our first proper look at the movie and even hints at some of the classic songs from the classic animated film. It a huge improvement from the teasers and the weird first look at Smith as the beloved Genie. There’s no chance this film fails at the box-office, it looks exactly like the Aladdin you loved, except in live action. It’s a guaranteed money maker.
In other news, it has been announced via THR, that Alan Tudyk will be voicing Lago, the obnoxious, loud-mouthed parrot sidekick to the villainous Jafar.
The character was originally voiced by Gilbert Gottfried in the animated movie. Can I just say, I applaud this decision by Disney! As I’ve got older I’ve found Gottfried’s voice goes right through me.

The film hits screens May 24, 2019
