New Concept Art Of ‘Aquaman’ Is Mesmeric

It’s a rarity to find art highly stylized in comic book form and NOT find it in comic panels. Alas, the ever talented Victor Martinez has done just that. In newly released concept art from Aquaman, the underwater city of Atlantis and its inhabitants are fully realized.

In some of the most beautiful concept art to inspire such a visceral film in and of itself, this Aquaman art is canvas level great. I also think it’s safe to assume we know where James Wan got the inspiration for creating such a vibrant underwater world. Curiously, one of the images also looks like the Vulko we had never seen before from Justice League. I wonder if this may have happened in Justice League or if they carried it over to Aquaman.
